Dear [NAME],

Giving Tuesday is upon us and we want you to be a part of this global day of giving back.

On November 28th, Heritage Christian College Foundation is excited to join in as we continue to support and provide for our students in Ghana.

For many young people in Africa, college is a dream that is difficult to attain.

This much desired higher education allows individuals to break the cycle of systemic poverty that persists across West Africa. Lack of opportunity and perceived hopelessness have created a poverty mindset among many of Africa's young people. It is because of this that many struggle to believe in their ability to succeed and in turn, help others break this cycle as well.

HCCF has not only been able to provide students with scholarships and resources to receive an education but, even more, a Christian education. Education and economic development are not only wonderful but an HCCF education truly empowers these men and women to be Christ-like leaders in their communities. Students wouldn't just be educated leaders; they would be lights for the Kingdom.

Those are the men and women we want to educate and equip at Heritage Christian College and that is why we are so grateful for generous donors that make our student's aspirations a reality.

We were excited to welcome 100 freshmen this Fall, putting our total enrollment at 183!

But with a growing student body comes a growing need, as nearly every student faces serious financial challenges that impact their ability to attend college.

183 students, 183 scholarships, 183 equipped leaders and disciples

At Heritage Christian College, a $5,000 scholarship covers the cost of:

Dear [NAME],

As 2017 comes to an end, we want you to be a part of a wonderful opportunity to give back.

Looking towards 2018, Heritage Christian College Foundation is excited to continue to support and provide for our students in Ghana.

Students wouldn't just be educated leaders; they would be lights for the Kingdom.

Meet HCC students Rhodalyn Adu Adjeibea and Zion Awuku Danyo.

Rhodalyn is from Akuapem Larteh in the Eastern Region of Ghana. She is studying Human resources management and wants to become the C.E.O. of her own company. She also wants to get a master’s degree after completing her undergraduate degree. Being an HCC student has made her develop spiritually through daily prayers and study of scriptures. Rhodaluyn is grateful for HCC because “not all colleges/universities have this great opportunity to study in such a hi-tech, serene environment where the world is at your fingertips.”

Zion is from Akropong in the Eastern Region of Ghana. He is studying Business information technology management and aspires to be an entrepreneur and impact society positively. He wants to show other businesses how to work ethically using Christ-like virtues to increase productivity. Zion describes HCC as “a blessing and an opportunity to help others who are less fortunate than I am… I love how students are being taught different ways of being successful in life and how to involve God in everyday life.”

These are the men and women we want to educate and equip at Heritage Christian College and that is why we are so grateful for generous donors that make our students’ aspirations a reality.
